Welcome. Here are some of my thoughts on education, religion, politics and all of the interesting things that I see in the crazy Northwest.

We are told in 2 Timothy 2:15 to Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

That is what I hope to do. If you agree with what I have to say, thanks, and I would love to hear from you. If you disagree, please share why you think I am wrong. I would love to hear from you also.

I am a husband, a father of two boys ages 4 and 2, a high school math teacher and a math tutor on the side. Blogging is just a hobby to post some of my thoughts on what is going on in my classroom and in the world today.

Religiously, I am a Christian “Fundamentalist” who believes that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and takes this Word literally. I believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven. I believe that God created man, not random mutations over billions of years. I believe in a pre-tribulation rapture of God’s Church and a restoration of His chose people, the Jews, to salvation through Jesus Christ.

Politically, I am a conservative who believes that individual freedom is the best way. I believe that the individuals, when left alone by the government, are USUALLY capable of making the right decisions for their lives. I believe that the private sector is much more efficient and effective than government and that less government is often a better alternative. I oppose abortion as a mean of birth control and believe that marriage is a union established by God between one man and one woman.
